He was followed by his brother Bahram IV, surnamed Kirman-Shah, ' King of Kirman', because he had been viceroy in that region. He reigned eleven years. With him Theodosius settled the Armenian question in an entirely novel manner, by dividing the country into two halves, one under the influence of Constantinople and the other under that of Ctesiphon.
